Why I Write

The beauty of writing is that each and every individual has their own unique writing style and personality. Throughout the entirety of my writing endeavors, I have always known that creative and fictional writing was the most influential factor in the creation of my writing style. Being a creatively driven person, I have always strived to approach the basic aspects of writing with the understanding that I would have the freedom to write what I want in any way that I want. As long as the freedom to write creatively is still held to great value, the incentive to write will forever remain intact.

The separation between realism and fantasy has always remained an important theme in my life. Sometimes the best stories are ones that challenge the idea of reality, however that ideal is not typically the traditional way of viewing the art of writing. Writing to me is a personal task and is not meant to be followed traditionally. The way you write speaks on behalf of your character and the type of person you are and to me writing gives me a chance to prove that I am far from a robot, I am my own creative mind. It is my personal belief that there is no traditional style to writing. It is what you make it, and personally, what makes me want to write is getting the opportunity to demonstrate a part of my creativity and imagination. I believe that writing is very similar to having a sketchbook. Your sketchbook is basically a snapshot of your soul, no one can ever take those ideas away from you.
